Scope of cutting and shaping
Outer contour cutting, drilling and preparation for folding are different operations. Clearly identify which ones are required. Send a flat pattern or dimensioned part drawing alongside the finished-product photo. Define bending and assembly requirements separately from cutting.
Surface orientation and sheet details
Colour, surface type, sheet thickness and the visible side matter. For directional surfaces, specify how all parts should be oriented. If supplying your own sheets, provide product details and actual dimensions; waste is assessed from the layout.
